Dr Rankin is an excellent doctor, the best in the surgery in my opinion, always proving a personal, in-depth service. But he's always running extremely late! (Over an hour on more than one occasion). I don't appreciate the reception and waiting area being open plan, total lack of privacy when talking to the receptionist and it's constantly possible to overhear confidential telephone conversations. Also, one single receptionist on duty speaking to patients and also answering the phone means a lot of waiting in a queue, there should be two receptionists on at all times doing one job each.

I wanted to thank the nurses that looked after myself and my baby when we went in recently for her injections. Clare Fluker especially, was unbelievably kind and helpful & really put us at ease. She answered all of my questions clearly and even wrote down the names of some ointment she recommended. The surgery was clean and well presented. The lady on reception was able to answer my question, but I was made to feel as if I was disturbing her and I feel she would benefit from smiling a little more :o)

The surgery in Goldsworth Park desperately needs to be renovated. It looks tired and depressing. Notices are plastered all over the place and some are well out of date. The chairs are badly stained and uncomfortable. I would rather stand than sit down when waiting for my appointment. Fortunately, I have found the doctors and other members of the team very kind and compassionate. One of the receptionists named Gayle had been very helpful today when I went to collect a repeat prescription for my mother. Liz who is another receptionist has always gone the extra mile or out of her way to arrange an urgent appointment. I do feel respected and not a nuisance the manner my requests were dealt.

Thank you for your feedback which we have forwarded onto NHS properties and our local CCG. We have been informed that improvement work, which we agree is long overdue, is to be commenced in the near future. Unfortunately this improvement work is beyond our control at Goldsworth Park although we have highlighted on a number occassions the urgent need for these works to be caried out. We have also fed back your positive comments about named members of staff to individuals involved.

The surgery is always as helpful as is possible. In my experience we have the best group of Dr's receptionists anyone could wish for , they are always polite and helpful and will do anything within their power to help you. They are a perfect compliment to the Doctors within the surgery who work along the same basic principles. I don't think there is much else to add.

A friendly and efficient front of house service, which has improved a lot in the last 6 months. The telephone system has also improved and no longer reports 'busy' lines for hours on end. The new system of reminder text messages of appointments, seems to have suddenly stopped. This was a useful service. Reception is now staffed by very pleasant and efficient people and I certainly feel valued and important when I call. Overall, a happy and caring surgery, with top class doctors and nurses. I'm happy to be on the list!
